Serving for over 23 years, his journey started when he was assigned to Iraq as a firefighter and has taken him to his current role as a key leader in recruiting here in Michigan. As a component of the U.S. Army, the Michigan Army National Guard defends the country when called to action, but what makes for a unique branch in the military is the duty to protect and serve the state of Michigan.
